Pyrite has a color streak of a greenish or blackish color, it has a metallic luster, it also has an uneven fracture habit, but it belongs in the cubic crystal system, the specific gravity is about 4.9 - 5.2

Granite has a color of black, white, and grey, its grain size and texture is coarse and granular, it is an extrusive, mafic and basic rock

Sandstone has a color of red-brown, its grain size and texture is fine-grained and porous, it is a sedimentary, clastic type of rock.

Marble has a color of a pale grey, its grain size and texture is coarsely crystalline, sugary, and glassy, its is a high grade metamorphosed.

Hematite is a mineral that is very resistant to weathering. This mineral is found in acid igneous and sedimentary rocks. The color of the mineral is a red-brown color. The color of its streak is also a red-brown color. Hematite has a metallic luster. Its cleavage is uneven which means it has an uneven fracture habit. The mineral belongs to a massive or granular crystal system. Also, the hardness is like a knife which means it has a specific gravity of 5.

Obsidian is an Igneous rock that is very hard. It is used for building materials and monuments. The color of this mineral is black. This rock has no grains visible on it. Obsidian is a extrusive and felsic type of rock.

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock that accumulates through wind or water processes. Sandstone’s color is red-brown. Its grain size and texture is fined grained and porous. Sandstone is a clastic type of rock.

Marble is a metamorphic rock that is in a low grade metamorphism. Its color is a pale grey. Its grain size and texture is coarsely crystalline, sugary and glassy. Marble is a high grade metamorphosed type of rock.

Quartz is a mineral that is very resistant to weathering. It is found in acid igneous rocks and sedimentary rocks. The color of Quartz is colorless and the streak is white. It has a vitreous luster. Quartz belongs to the hexagonal crystal structure. The specific gravity of Quartz is 6.25 and the hardness of it is a 7.

Obsidian is an igneous rock also known as volcanic glass.Crystals do not grow in this rock so that is why it has a glass texture. The color of Obsidian is black. There are no grains visible on this rock. Obsidian is an extrusive and felsic rock.

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock. The color of Sandstone is a reddish brown color. Sandstone is a fine-grained and porous rock. Sandstone is also a clastic sedimentary rock.

Slate is a low grade metamorphic rock. The color of slate is grey. Slate is fine- grained. Slate is also a low grade metamorphosed. Slate can be used for roofing or paving.

Biotite is a mineral that can be easily identified by its black or dark brown color, and its interesting flaky cleavage. Also, it has a vitreous luster, uneven fracture habit that is one, perfect, and has a gravity of 2.8-3.2. Obsidian or a volcanic glass is a igneous rock that is formed from the rapid of cooling of lava. With Obsidian the crystals do not grow and it gives the rock its glassy-like texture. A type of sedimentary rock would be Limestone. Limestone has a yellow-white color, and with a coarse-grained texture. A metamorphic rock would be Marble. Marble is a high grade metamorphic rock that's include in buildings, monuments, and sculptures. It has a pale grey color, and its coarsely crystalline, sugary and glassy texture.

•Pyrite also known as Fool's Gold is found in igneous rocks and in ore veins. It is also iron sulfide and has a metallic luster. This mineral does not demonstrate cleavage. The Pyrite belongs to the cubic crystal system and its hardness is 6.

• Obsidian is a black igneous rock. Because of its hardness, it is used for building monuments and materials. This rock has no grains that are visible and its extrusive and felsic.

• The Limestone is a clastic sedimentary rock. The color of it is yellow-white and it is coarse-grained. This rock gathers as ocean reefs and/or skeletal remains.

• Marble is a state-of-the-art metamorphic rock and is used to build monuments, buildings, and sculptures. It is coarsely crystalline, sugary and glassy and its color is pale grey.
